On Saturday 17th May 2019 Martin Hains and Henry Wilkins were the first to complete The Welsh Rhino in a time of 10 hours and 15 minutes.

The Welsh Rhino is a 19-mile challenge walk that traverses the Rhinogydd range in Snowdonia. Starting in Llanbedr it takes in the peaks of Rhinog Fawr, Rhinog Fach, Y Lethr and Diffwys, finishing in Barmouth. The challenge is to complete the walk in less than 12 hours. On successful completion of the walk participants are entitled to receive a bleached denim cloth badge and a monotype certificate (see below) as a symbol of fellowship.
